 549 Kettlewell

Directions

When in doubt look at the map.  Check your position at each point.  Keep straight on unless otherwise directed.

 

01From Kettlewell, Grassington road, 300 yards.  Fieldgate on right, path uphill (fingerpost), wood, gate out, keep up by wood.


02At corner of wood (ladderstile nearby), diagonally 50 yards to ladderstile then path angles 1 o’clock uphill.


03Path forks, take either, gently uphill.


04At ladderstile (don’t use it), right and keep wall to your left except for 100 yard path on right to Trig Point after half mile.  Continue by long wall, cross broken walls.

 

05At sound wall switch through gap on left to other side for a few yards and back over using ladderstile (sign).


06Ladderstile near fieldgate (sign), 300 yards.  At ladderstile on left turn your back to it and take grassy path 1 o’clock downhill, ignore fork to fieldgate 50 yards to right.

 

07Through narrow gap in scar. Path. Ladderstile on right at wall junction (signed) to grass path downhill, cross track (fingerpost), right to path by wall, gate and left to road into Kettlewell.
