01From Stack Point carpark Swinsty Reservoir, path down to water and left, right to road between reservoirs, path on right (signs).
02Left to road end, 10 yards, walled path on right (fingerpost), gate, uphill.
03Wallstile/metal fieldgate, 10 yards, left to track (waymarked post), metal fieldgate, downhill through farmyard.
04Left to road, metal fieldgate into second field on left (no sign, tape on gate), 2 o'clock across field, footbridge, wallstile, footbridge (waymark), 11 o'clock for 100 yards to wall corner (waymarked post) and left so wall to right, wallstile (waymark), 50 yards, wallstile, gateway, wallstile/fieldgate (waymark), 1 o'clock across field, wallstile/fieldgate and uphill by wall to your left, wallstile in corner.
05Left to road, right, walled track on left between houses (fingerpost across road), wallstile, 1 o'clock, wallstile, small gate on right (waymark) and immediately left, fieldgate/squeezer.
06Right to road. Wallstile on left (waymark), stile at wall corner on right, cross stream, steps uphill, fieldgate into farmyard, right 10 yards, left and track between buildings, right-hand of two fieldgates out (waymark), wallstile (waymark), wallstile after corner and a fieldgate, 2 o'clock across field towards house, wallstile, 11 o'clock, ladderstile/fieldgate and pass house.
07Gateway on left immediately after garden and downhill keeping about 50 yards from garden, then by fence and then to left of gully with trees, stile in fence (waymark).
08Right uphill, through ruins, gateway by barn (waymark), downhill by wall, gate to dam between reservoirs, stile/fieldgate.
09Left to path (Dales Way Link), uphill to skirt reservoir, stepstream and fieldgate (waymark), gateway on left by ruins and immediately right (blob on gatepost), snickelgate (waymark) and footbridge to grass path, footbridge, 100 yards up to gateway (waymark).
10Left to walled track, 50 yards, gateway and track angles right (Dales Way Link waymark), 20 yards, path angles right and keep by wall to your right, becomes walled track along valleyside, gate (waymark).
11Gateway below farm (waymark) and angle left 25 yards, stile/fieldgate (waymark), path downhill, metal gate (waymark), 11 o'clock, fieldgate (waymark) and cross field, footbridge and stile 50 yards to left of corner (waymark), 11 o'clock across two fields (usage), grid metal gate to wallstile 3 yards from wall corner and 100 yards before houses (no sign), 50 yards path to fingerpost, right to drive between houses, path through Sun Inn car park.
12Left to road, 25 yards, track on right outside wood (fingerpost), fieldgate, by wall, fieldgate, 11 o'clock, gate into wood (waymark), path downhill, right to road.
