Directions

When in doubt look at the map.  Check your position at each point.  Keep straight on unless otherwise directed.

01.
From market place, downhill (Richmond direction), bridge, 50 yards, fieldgates on left (fingerpost) and right 25 yards to squeezer, 150 yards across field to squeezer and right by wall uphill, 2 squeezers.
02.
Left to road.  At hamlet ignore first left then left at T-junction, 50 yards, walled path on right (no sign), squeezer, path contours across fields - squeezer, gateway, track, fieldgate, fieldgate/squeezer, keep up by wall to your left, wall gap, 2 squeezers (waymarks).
03.
Left to road uphill.
04.
Squeezer/fieldgate on left opposite Marrick turn (fingerpost), track uphill, fieldgate, ladderstile, track on Fremington Edge with wall to left.
05.
To trig point.  At GR SE 056996, where field wall comes up from left and at barred square ‘hole’ in wall, turn right c40 degrees magnetic over heather 250 yards to trig. Return to track.
06.
Fieldgate and immediately left to fieldgate – easy option track downhill back to High Fremington.
Otherwise, 20 yards on grass, right-hand of 2 tracks downhill, 50yards, path downhill from bend at fingerpost, we zigzagged, beware of steep drops.  Ladderstile, path to left of wall, cross track to squeezer, path levels, 50 yards, barn, squeezer, 50 yards, squeezer and left, squeezer by 2 trees, ladderstile, grassy path, right to road.
