Directions

When in doubt look at the map.  Check your position at each point.  Keep straight on unless otherwise directed.

01 Kepwick road from Hawnby, left after church. Track (unsuitable for motors) after Arden Hall.  Fieldgates.
02 Right to grassy track (fingerpost, Cleveland Way).
03 About 20 yards before 20ft of wall protrudes from left and 50 yards before fieldgate (waymark) on left, turn right to grassy path/track (no sign), 200 yards, left fork 50 yards, gate (waymark) to moorland path beside fence/wall.
04 At wall corner, path steep downhill, by stream to your left then right then ignore ford on right.  Track uphill by wood 200 yards.
05 Fieldgate on right to woodland path (waymark).
06 Right fork to track at grassy junction (waymark on tree, private sign on left fork), downhill with grassy area to your left.
07 At right-hand bend go straight on 20 yards to fieldgate into field and stay by fence. Fieldgate and left to track uphill.
08 Cattlegrid and right fork through farmyard, track.
09 On bend, stile/fieldgate on right into field, 150 yards, fieldgate to track through woods (waymark), ignore right fork after 100 yards, footbridge, track, left to road
