Directions

When in doubt look at the map.  Check your position at each point.  Keep straight on unless otherwise directed.

01 Track from parking area at GR NZ852028, cross main road (fieldgates, sign), track, joins fence. Fieldgate (waymark).
02 Right fork at ‘Y’ junction at wood corner. NZ872018.
03 Right fork (waymarked post) NZ876016.
04 Left fork before fieldgate in fence NZ875009, so fence to your right (waymark).
05 At junction, fieldgate on right (waymark), 100 yards, left, 25 yards, left 25 yards on path through heather to trig point.  Return to junction and downhill on wide track to forest.
06 Left at T-junction (cycle route sign) NZ884011.
07 Left to track (cycle route sign straight on). 25 yards, concrete pond on right.  Pass felled area then by new plantation, track becomes grassy for 200 yards.
08 At corner with crushed bricks in grass at NZ867025 left to grassy path/track.
09 At wood edge, EITHER left and over rails in fence corner and right to rejoin outward route OR, as on map, 20 yards to and over fence, right 200 yards, left at corner to path uphill through heather (stone posts) to rejoin outward route.
