We  are obliged to point out to you a number of conditions of use of the site.

Walking in the hills and dales of Northern England is a delightful, pleasurable pastime. With the correct clothing, footwear, maps, compass, food and drink, a fit and healthy person should be able to enjoy all our walks without a problem. The old adage says: "There is no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing!".

However, we cannot make any warranties about the conditions you will find underfoot, nor with the weather, your navigation abilities and the variation of routes that may occur due to changes by landowners, national park authorities, cliff falls and the like. Thus we regret we cannot accept any responsibility whatsoever for any problem that may occur for any reason as a result of following our walks.

The walks we provide here are correct to the best of our knowledge at the time we walked them last. But they are guides in the broadest sense - it is entirely up to you, and those in your party, to ensure that the walk is within your physical capabilities, that you can complete it in the anticipated weather conditions, that you have suitable equipment, clothing, footwear, refreshments and first aid facilities, and the relevant Ordnance Survey map and a compass which you know how to use when you need to.

By using the Wanderlust site you agree you have a full understanding of the above.
