The Press (formerly The Yorkshire Evening Press), and especially our editor Julian Cole - we have been doing the weekly Country Walk page for The Press since 1996.

The Darlington and Stockton Times and the editor Malcolm Warne who first published our book reviews in 1993 and who now publishes half of our walks.

Footpath, Public Rights of Way, Access and Highways Officers across Yorkshire and beyond who have provided help and advice, often very quickly with the weekly deadline for the walk copy looming, namely the staff of the North York Moors National Park, North Yorkshire County Council, East Riding of Yorkshire Council, Yorkshire Dales National Park, Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council and Durham County Council .
